It’s is time to get young and fresh names on the rising stars of the NRL 2020 season. Many new talents are out to prove themselves, and here are some of the top rising stars to watch for in 2020.

1. Storm’s Tino Fa’asuamaleaui

Tino seeks to cement his position among the top 17 this season. The 19-year old showed great potential after playing five games for Melbourne Storm last season in the round of 16. He is a highly valued player, and the team’s rivals were ready to offer him the right amount if he would agree to change sides.

2. Rabbitohs’ Steven Marsters

The South Sydney player secured a high position with the Rabbitohs last season. He played for New Zealand for the under 18s 2016 season and graduated to Junior Kiwis where he served in 2017 and 2018. He will be pushing hard for a title this year, and there is no doubt he might be able to hit his goal.

3. Eels’ Ethan Parry

In the Eels’ game against Sea Eagles round of 18 last season, Parry revealed a glimpse of his potential and left many in high expectation. He then appeared in another try out game against the Warriors. There is hope that Parry would land a more permanent position with the Eels with Waqa Blake’s shoulder injury. If this happens, the road to a better career is open for him.

4. Tigers’ Tommy Talau

This name is a legacy in Australian football. He is son to Willie Talau of the Bulldogs. But this is not all that makes him one to watch out for. Thanks to Esan Marsters’ move to the Cowboys, Talau landed a great opportunity with the Tigers, and this was proven in the round 22 of the last season against Sea Eagles. He will be starting in round one of the 2020 season.
